Nice Dry Cool Saturday Weak Front Sunday Nice Weather Week Ahead
We begin the weekend with a nice dry cool air mass and while we do see clear skies in New England south to New Jersey there are some clouds over parts of Pennsylvania and extending southward into Virginia. Yesterday’s cold front is now sitting across the Southern Mid Atlantic states and that boundary should hold today. Sunshine or at least partial sunshine today will mean highs will reach the low and middle 70s just about everywhere.
We don’t expect much activity on the radar for awhile some showers might appear on Sunday in Western NY and Western Pennsylvania but those showers will be going well to our north leaving us just with clouds coming in for tonight and clouds with some sunshine for Sunday. Temperatures will be in the 70s to around 80 for the highs.
Next week looks to be dry and nice all week long. Other than occasional days where perhaps some clouds might be in the mix, we are looking at sunshine with reasonable and seasonal temperatures and humidity all week along.
While Paulette passes near Bermuda likely as a hurricane Monday and Tropical Depression 19 likely develops into Tropical Storm Sally, neither storm has any weather impact here. The only impact from Paulette will be a roughing up of the surf along the shore line from Southern New England to the Mid Atlantic coast early next week. The only weather complication here and it is a minor one comes Thursday when another weak cold front moves through bringing in another cool dry high from Canada into the Northeast. This looks to continue the nice weather right into next weekend. This means sunshine by day and clear by night with daytime highs in the 70s and nighttime lows in the 50s. The last week of summer goes out on a very good note.
